“Faendal was my first follower, and my best friend. Whenever we went off adventuring, I gave him all the arrows. We were inseparable. He must have saved my life in my early adventuring days at least dozens of times, and I helped him with his love life, refusing to marry Camilla Valerius to leave it open to my best friend. But later on, when we were trekking to Whiterun, we stopped at a bandit camp on a bridge. Everything was going well, but then three Hired Thugs came out of the shadows and ambushed us. I was too busy fighting to notice until the last second. Faendal, my best friend, had gotten pushed off of the bridge, screaming as he fell, landing in the water before his lifeless corpse fell off of the waterfall. I paused the game and cried. I placed his favorite bow at the foot of the waterfall, and I placed his body near a tree to put him back to nature. I’m now three hundred hours past that moment. I still pay my respects every so often. I’ll always miss you Faendal. I’ll see you in the Eternal Hunt.”
